We understand that unexpected expenses may occur at inconvenient times. That is why we provide our members with Overdraft coverage options that may allow us to pay your items rather than returning them, should you overdraw your account.

 

Features

Overdraft Protection applies to all transactions and may help prevent overdrafts by automatically transferring funds to your checking account from another account, or line of credit you may have at Pinal County FCU for a finance charge. Please note that overdraft lines of credit are subject to credit approval.

Overdraft Privilege allows you to overdraw your account up to the disclosed limit for a fee to pay a transaction. Even if you have Overdraft Protection, Overdraft Privilege is still available as secondary coverage if the other protection source is exhausted.

If you would like to select Extended Coverage for future transactions:
*If you choose Extended Coverage on your consumer account, ATM withdrawals and everyday debit card transactions will be included with the transactions listed under Standard Coverage. If you already have Extended Coverage, it is not necessary to request it again. Business accounts automatically have Extended Coverage.

Accounts will be charged the standard Overdraft fee of $30 for handling each overdraft created by check, ACH, Point-of-Sale, ATM withdrawal, in-person withdrawal, or other electronic item that is paid and $35 for items returned. An overdrawn balance must be repaid within 32 days.  We may not pay items under your Overdraft Privilege if you do not maintain your account in good standing by bringing your account to a positive balance within every thirty-two (32) day period for a minimum of one business day, if you default on any loan or other obligation to Pinal County FCU or if your account is subject to any legal or administrative order or levy.
