Almost 60 years of helping families achieve their goals and dreams!

In 1953 a group of approximately 60 teachers, most of them from the Casa Grande area, and Mary C. O'Brien, former Pinal County School Superintendent, gathered to discuss ways of helping each other. They formed what was then known as Pinal County Schools Employees Federal Credit Union, and received a federal charter January 4, 1954.

The field of membership at that time was employees of Pinal County Schools and employees of the Credit Union and their immediate families. The Credit Union was open one day a week in the County School Superintendent's office until 1959, when Ruby LaMar became manager and operated the Credit Union from an addition to her home.

The Credit Union purchased land in 1971 in Florence, and built the present office building. In 1982 the Pinal County and City Employees State Credit Union merged with this Credit Union and the name was changed to Pinal County Federal Credit Union. The field of membership now included not only Pinal County School Employees, but all employees of Pinal County, the cities within Pinal County, and various small businesses and immediate family of Credit Union members.

In 1983 the Casa Grande branch opened, and the Apache Junction branch followed in 1992.

Effective December 30, 2003 the credit union amended its charter to include any persons who live, work, worships, or attends school in Pinal County as well as businesses and other legal entities.

In 2008 we opened our Coolidge branch, in 2009 we opened our San Tan Branch, and our Maricopa branch opened in 2010.

Our dedication in serving our members for over half a century is the reason we are still here providing financial services for generations to come. We continue to follow the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People".

To our members: Thank you for your continued support. We recognize and appreciate your loyalty through the years. We are honored with the opportunity to serve you.
